Chinese fried rice for healthy diet

There are many who just love to have fried rice every now and then. This Chinese rice recipe can be served with vegetables and is enjoyed by people of all ages across the globe. Ingredients
  • Mixed frozen vegetable package or frozen carrot and pea package, 1 16-oz.
  • Frozen onions & pepper stir fried vegetables, 1 cup.
  • Cooked Best basmati brown rice package, 1 8.8 oz.
  • Canola oil or olive oil divided, 4 tsp
  • Eggs, 2-3 pcs.
  • Stir fry sauce, 4 tbsp.. Those having low sodium are preferred.
  • Crushed red peppers (optional)
  • Lime wedges


Preparation method
Take 2 tbsp. of canola or olive oil and heat it in a big no stick skillet or wok on medium heat. Have the eggs whisked and add them to the oil. Prepare scramble eggs simply by occasional stirring until set. Now, remove pan and set aside. Have heat increased to medium high. Add remaining oil of 2 tbsp. to pan. Have all frozen vegetables stir fried and cooked for around 5 minutes or until it gets tender. You should not overcook vegetables, since it will drain all the essential nutrients present in it.
Then include stir fry sauce as well as crushed peppers. Next include superior quality organic basmati rice from India and scrambled eggs and heat thoroughly. Have lime juice squeezed to provide the recipe with that extra flavour. The beauty of this recipe can be further enhanced by using left over chicken and rice. Alternatively, you can include tofu instead of the eggs. This can be made a Chinese vegetarian fried rice recipe. Even, pre-cooked shrimps can be used and this can form an interesting and delighting seafood rice recipe. White basmati rice can also be used instead of brown rice, depending upon the taste and flavour that you and your family are interested in.
It is necessary to have ready frozen vegetable package ready along with stir-fry in the freezer. They can be utilized for preparing variety of stir fry healthy dinners apart from this type.
